I had great experience working with everyone at Offer Tax. They helped me through all steps to save me from great stress and bring me back to good standards.
I spoke to Josh on my back taxes. Joshua's supreme customer service was helpful to answer and resolve my tax issue. It felt like he really cared about my family, myself and my tax issue.
Joshua and Kevin were very outstanding. They made everything perfectly easy to understand, and were very helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns.
John Michael got my process started and Joshua Price did most of the work. For legal advice Alba Salgado was a great help. All excellent, and they worked hard for me. I would recommend them for anyone owing back taxes.
One call tells you where you stand
Most people come to us holding a notice they do not fully understand. That is the normal starting point, not a failing.
We will read it with you, explain what the IRS is actually asking for, and tell you plainly which routes are open. If your situation does not need us, we will say so.

Common questions
The things people ask us most often on a first call.
Sometimes. An Offer in Compromise is real, but it is not automatic and it is not for everyone. The IRS looks at your income, your allowable living expenses and the equity in what you own, then decides what it could realistically collect. If that figure is less than what you owe, a settlement becomes possible. Call us and we will walk through the arithmetic with you.
No. That call was a scam. The IRS opens contact by mail, and it does not demand payment by gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency. Hang up. If you have a real balance, you will have received written notices, and those are the documents worth bringing to us.
It depends on what you need. A levy release can move in days where there is a demonstrable hardship. An installment agreement usually takes weeks. An Offer in Compromise commonly runs six months to a year or more, because the IRS reviews the full financial picture. Starting earlier always produces more options.
Often, yes. The IRS will usually agree to release a garnishment once you enter an installment agreement, and most states will lower or modify a garnishment where you can demonstrate hardship. The important thing is to act before more of your paycheck is taken.
It is not too late, and filing them is almost always the first step. The IRS will not consider a settlement or a payment plan while returns are outstanding. Getting current is what opens the door to everything else.
Nothing. The first conversation is free and there is no obligation. If you have a notice in hand, call and we will read it with you and tell you plainly what it means.
Not sure where you stand?
